Screen printing is the process of transferring a stencilled design onto a flat surface using a mesh screen, ink and a squeegee. Fabric and paper are the most commonly screen-printed surfaces, but with specialised inks it's also possible to print onto wood, metal, plastic, and even glass. Here at Umbrella, we mostly print garments, but if you have a differnet kind of surface/material and you're not sure if it's printable, just ask!

Of course! So with screenprinting, one screen is going to print one color. If your design has more than one color, or you are printing more than one location on a garment, you will need more than one screen! The design below required 5 screens: White, Tan, Light Green, Dark Green and Black. When getting a design printed with us for the first time, you pay $25 per screen (or color) for the setup of the design. (This example would pauy $125 in screen fees). The screen fees are lifetime, so if you come back and get the same design printed, you do not have to pay the screen fees again. From there, price is going to vary based on how many garments we print, and if we get the garments for you or you provide them. You can then look at the chart and see what your price will be per print. We also supply a range of Tees, Sweatshirts, Sweatsuits and more, so if you purchase garments through us you will have to factor in those prices as well.

Turnover varies project to project, but we do our best to have your product to you within 7-10 business days of placing an order.
